Discrimination based on physical appearance is prohibited by law. How does the issue of physical appearance arise in the workplace? Can it negatively affect someone's recruitment or impede their career?
By capitalising on research work, expert testimony and the results of company focus groups, the AFMD has developed two teaching aids to better understand the mechanisms of workplace discrimination based on physical appearance: a training kit (reserved for members) aimed at managers and/or HR managers, as well as an awareness video (for all audiences).
